The Founder and Pastor, Bishop Marvin D. Williams Sr. has a deep rooted committed sense of pride and change for the community. Bishop Williams has been infused with the love for people and is so concerned about their physical and spiritual advancement that God called him to create a ministry edifice centered in the neighborhood that would have doors opened to all that seek sanctuary in its waiting arms of love. Greater St. Stephen is a Fortress, a Pillar of Strength, a Beacon that lights the pathway to all who need a way.
AFFIRMATION OF FAITH
We believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, borne of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and was buried; He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. We believe in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Church of Jesus Christ, the communion of saints, forgiveness of sins, resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.
